Iceford stables is a family run stables that has been in operation for 3 years. The business has gone from strength to strength and Iceford Stables has been AIRE approved in 2009, 2010 and 2011.  New indoor arena built 2011. 

Iceford stables situated 3 miles from Ballina Co. Mayo and 3 miles from the picturesque holiday village of Enniscrone Co. Sligo. Iceford stables is the perfect choice for all your horse riding.

We provide horse riding lessons from the complete beginner rider to the more advanced riders wanting to brush up on their skills. We cater for all ages from 6 upward, and all abilities.

Our strengths lie in the high standard of horses and ponies and the quality of instruction.  As we believe that safety is the key to a good riding school all of our ponies are schooled to the highest standard before they enter the lessons.  Our instructors are qualified to AIRE, BHS and FEI standard and hold current child protection and first aid certificates.

Camps

Christmas Camps 2011/2012

Wed January 4th - 1 day childrens camp.

Thur January 5th - 1 day teenagers camp. 

Camps run from 9am to 2pm daily.  Camps include stable management, riding lessons, games.  Please bring a packed lunch and a change of clothes.
